In a totally rural setting, the self catering apartments at Hargate Hall are a few minutes drive from Buxton and about 15 minutes from Bakewell. Castleton is ten minutes drive and Matlock about 25 minutes. A good bus service terminates at Tideswell, which is a few minutes away and the nearest train station is at Dove Holes, three minutes in the other direction.
