Corkage charges, Food and Alcohol
No Corkage charges
We do not levy corkage charges on any alcohol that you bring. We do not allow any caterers (or other supplier) to make corkage charges either!
Catering and Food
All the apartments have fully equipped kitchens so you have the option of doing all the catering yourselves. Alternatively, we work closely with independent caterers and other suppliers who bring their teams to the house to create a wonderful meal, uniquely for you - no set menus. Dependent on the number of guests, meals can be eaten in the main reception hall, in an apartments or in a marquee. 
The maximum number that can be seated in the Main Hall is 60. Above this you will either need the marquee (for a formal sit down meal) or for up to about 80 people you can have an informal buffet in the main hall.
Alcohol and Drinks
Our drinks deal is one of the most generous you will find. You can purchase your reception drinks and table wines directly from any retail outlet, saving yourselves a substantial amount vs typical restaurant or hotel prices. there are some great local breweries and wine merchants who will be happy to supply your needs. We do not add any corkage charges or commissions.
If you wish, we can lay on a pay bar for some or all of your wedding weekend. Please note: due to the limited number of Temporary Events (alcohol) licences that are available each year, we do not permit anyone other than us to apply for such licences at Hargate Hall. Any applied without our express permission, will be cancelled.
