Each month, we try to share a snippet of life here at Hargate Hall. Sometimes it feels like there isn’t much to report, but most of the time we’re just so busy we forget to report on what we’ve been up to! We hope you enjoy this update.
The February Update
February always means half term week, well two weeks for us as we often get guests from different parts of the county and the holiday weeks don’t always match up. It means we’ve been busy with self-catering holiday booking. It’s also a great time to visit the Peak District. It’s starting to get a little warmer, and there it lots to do!
What’s happening this month?
Anthony has been very busy scrubbing, bleaching and sanding the hall floor, ready for some coats of varnish later this month. We’ve shared some pictures of the work in progress below. We think you’ll agree it looks fantastic! It was hard work, and a late night, but so worth it!
We’re also keeping up with the general maintenance of the Hall. And of course, we are getting ready for our summer of weddings, we can’t wait!
