Another month, another adventure.
June has sped by, and we’ve been busy with weddings, parties, and summer holiday preparations. Here’s a little glimpse of what we’ve been up to…
The June Update
This past month we’ve been busy with the day-to-day running of the Hall. It’s often the ‘unglamourous’ tasks that keep us the busiest. Clearing rooms, changing sheets, tidying communal areas, and keeping on top of the garden. But it’s these tasks that keep Hargate Hall in pristine condition, ready for our guests.
What’s happening this month?
We celebrated the Jubilee in style with our guests. Julie hosted a fab tea party with fizz and scones. We enjoyed celebrating this special time with our guests, who were of course all invited. This is when we love the hall the most, when it’s filled with people having a great time.
Sarah (one of our lovely daughters) turned 18 this month! Happy birthday Sarah. We had a lovely family and friends party at the Hall. It was great to see Sarah enjoy the space with her friends and raise a glass (or two). Thanks to everyone that came and helped us celebrate.
We are still working on our own house (which is next to the Hall). We are hoping to be back in our home soon and we can’t wait to show you the changes.
We’ve also had three weddings, and another 18th birthday party at the Hall, so as you can imagine, it’s been a busy time.
Finally, we had the most incredible visit from some very special friends. A couple who got married at the Hall ten years ago called to see if they could stop by, as they were in the area, and show their kids where they got married. It was very special, and a lovely way to spend an hour or two. Each and every Hargate wedding is memorable for us. If you’re ever in the area, just let us know. We would love to see you at Hargate Hall very soon. Why not come and spend some of your summer holiday in our stunning home. You’ll have free roam of our grounds, play a game or two of tennis on our court, pop down to our local for a pint, or just have a nice natter with us in the communal area.
