Making a Booking

Do you want to make a booking or check pricing and availability and happy to work your own way through it? Then please click the Book Now button below. If you would like a step by step guide, please read on.

Checking Availability and Price

Are you are wanting to book your Wedding or Party or just wanting to find out what availability we have and how much it will cost? That is easy. Visit our online booking system. Don’t worry you will not be committed to booking anything! Near the top and bottom of this page, you will see a Book Now. Clicking  on it and you will take you to a screen like the one below

Choose Your Date

For Weddings and Parties you need to book the whole place. This is the default setting. All you need to do is click the date drop down and select your preferred date. What you will then see is the availability for a 4 month block. Anything in RED is booked, and GREEN is available.

If you click on the short breaks button, a pop-up appears with a breakdown of the pricing. You can click “previous month” or “next month” to check other dates as well.

Making a Booking

Great, so you want to make a booking. From the availability view detailed above, just click on the date that you want to arrive (typically a Monday or a Friday) and select the number of nights (typically 3). You will see a confirmation of the pics and dates. There are also boxes for the numbers of adults, children, and guests. Just put in an estimate. It is just a guide for us, and doesn’t change the prices.

When you are done click the book now button.

Selecting your Options

The next step is to select the individual items you want to book. The accommodation section is already there, so for parties you can probably just proceed to Place Booking button.

For weddings you will need to decide if you want the marquee and you can select it here. If you are not sure at this stage, don’t worry we can always add it later. You can also select any guest numbers over the 77 included in booking the hall and accommodation. Again, we can adjust this nearer the time. Finally you need to select the £1000 wedding venue hire.

You will also notice an option for Friends of the Peak District. This is purely optional but we hope you will donate to this charity.

Entering your Details

The final part is to enter you contact details and payment details. If you are a returning customer there is the option to “log in” save you re-entering everything. You can pay either by debit card or by BACS. Our bank details will be on the confirmation letter. At the end of the form are or T&Cs and a tick box to confirm acceptance of them. Also there is a tick box if you want to be on our mailing list. Don’t worry, we only send a few mail shots a year, usually with details of any last minute discounts!
