The Hargate Hall monthly update is a great chance for us to share what’s been going on here at Hargate Hall. Each month, we’ll fill you in on what we’ve been up to and what we’re planning to work on.
The October Update
It’s well and truly autumn here in the Peaks and we’re looking at all the ways we can insulate the Hall and keep it warm and toasty. It’s a tricky task for an old building but we know how important it is for our flats to be lovely and warm, and as cost efficient as possible!
Autumn is also bulb planting time, so we’ll getting the grounds ready with plants for spring.
We’ve been reflecting on some of the wonderful weddings we’ve had here at the hall. We’re grateful to the incredible suppliers that take pictures of our Hall. If you head over to our Facebook page, you watch a wedding video that captures the hall perfectly.
What’s Happening This Month?
October means it’s half term, so we are getting ready for half term fun here at the Hall. There is always so much going on in the Peak District in October half term, so it’s a great time for a holiday. We have lots of short breaks and week-long stays during this time, so it keeps us busy.
We are still working on our house, and we will share photos when we can. We are looking forward to moving back in!
This time of year, is also a great time for wedding viewings. We offer bespoke 1-1 show rounds so couples can get a great idea of what their wedding might be like. Do you know anyone that would like a private viewing of the Hall? Please share our details with them as we’d love an extra busy summer season of weddings next year.
